Better sleep for you and your baby starts here. Designed with just the right amount of stretch, this cozy swaddle transition provides a secure, enclosed feel that helps calm the startle reflex while still allowing plenty of movement for healthy hip development. The unique star-shaped design offers a gentle sense of security, promoting deeper, more restful sleep.

Why choose the Zipadee-Zip Swaddle Transition:

  • A safer alternative once your baby starts to wiggle and roll.
  • Freedom of movement so your baby can safely push themselves up or roll over.
  • Our unique starfish design mimics the cozy feeling of the womb to provide an extra level of comfort and security.
  • Designed based on safe sleep recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
  • Suitable for little ones 3 months–3 years.
  • Intended for sleeping only and should not be used for walking or running

If your baby is 3 months+ or starting to roll over it might be time to try The Zipadee-Zip! We recommend wearing a bodysuit or lightweight pjs underneath.

FAQs

Is your baby waking up more often at night? Is your baby starting to roll over? If you’re nodding your head “yes”, it’s time to consider transitioning out of the swaddle. The Zipadee-Zip may be right for your baby if they meet the following criteria:

  • Your baby can/is trying to  roll over
  • Your baby is 3+ months
  • Your baby weighs at least 12 pounds
  • Your baby is breaking out of the swaddle

There a few things to keep in mind when ensuring a successful transition out the swaddle and into the Zipadee-Zip:

  • Ensure that there is slight resistance in the wing-span: This is a key element in helping babies feel secure once the swaddle is gone.
  • Use the Zipadee-Zip for naps first to ease into the transition; then build up to using it during the night.
  • Don’t try to use the Zipadee-Zip too soon: If your little one is still sleeping well while swaddled and is not trying to roll over back to front, it may be best to wait until they are showing signs they are ready for more freedom. Be sure to have the Zipadee-Zip on hand for when this happens though, as it literally can happen overnight!

Every baby is different, so results vary. However, most people see sleep improvements after 7-10 days.

Make sure that you properly measured your babies height to ensure you are between sizes. If so, we recommend sizing down and purchasing a snuggle strap!

Snoo Baby Approved

I returned this the first time, before even trying it. It’s thin and looks big. Thought no way this is going to work for my 5m swaddle-loving Snoo baby.

Night 1 of sleep training, Asleep within minutes only 1 pop in. Night 2, no pop ins. Night 3, slept 6 hours straight, no pop ins and so on. Its much easier for him to self soothe in this compared to arms out sacks.

We also have a helmet so the material is great for that (not too warm compared to other transition swaddles).

It’s just okay

It’s okay- but there’s not a double zipper for changes. & it pills after one wear. I don’t think it was worth the price at all though. It’s pretty lightweight though. That’s nice.

Sleep saver

This is actually my second sleep sack purchased, we started when baby was around 6 weeks old and now he’s 16 weeks! He always hated being swaddled and having his arms down, but would always startle himself / his arms would keep him up and immediately this made a huge difference. Soft, breathable and really does what it’s supposed to. Highly highly recommend!

Light summer sleep sack

It’s a very comfortable sleep sack, especially if your little one just wants to be in something light for the summer night

Pilling

Some fabric pulling especially as baby likes to munch on his hands.

Practical but could be improved

The design is good so it’s great for our baby in the transitional stage. However the fabric is not very breathable.

Good swaddle- outrageous price but quality/material

This is a great transition swaddle but I can't get over why it's so expensive and it's not even cotton!!!!🤦🏼‍♀️ I do not like putting my kids in polyester but that's the only option so- just seems like a rip off!
