There a few things to keep in mind when ensuring a successful transition out the swaddle and into the Zipadee-Zip:
- Ensure that there is slight resistance in the wing-span: This is a key element in helping babies feel secure once the swaddle is gone.
- Use the Zipadee-Zip for naps first to ease into the transition; then build up to using it during the night.
- Don’t try to use the Zipadee-Zip too soon: If your little one is still sleeping well while swaddled and is not trying to roll over back to front, it may be best to wait until they are showing signs they are ready for more freedom. Be sure to have the Zipadee-Zip on hand for when this happens though, as it literally can happen overnight!

Make sure that you properly measured your babies height to ensure you are between sizes. If so, we recommend sizing down and purchasing a snuggle strap!

Perfect swaddle transition for baby!

Unfortunately the fabric that they use in size medium, and up is different than in their smaller sizes. Our baby has had a terrible reaction to this. It took us a little bit to figure out that it was coming from the sleep sack, which is washed with the same laundry detergent we use with everything else.
The size small that we were using we had gotten from a resale store. It has the old logo on it, so may not even be the same as the current fabrics they use. We loved it though! It was working great for him.
Since we had been using one for awhile, we thought it was his bibs so stopped using those and it didn’t go away, just kept getting much worse.
We also kept feeling like he was seeming to get too warm. Again, didn’t think it was the sleep sack since we had no issues before. We were adjusting our house temperature! However, I feel that this fabric is also not very breathable. As he was suddenly getting sweaty when wearing this.
They state “ All of our fabrics are specially engineered to be soft and breathable to prevent the risk of overheating. This makes them ideal even for babies with eczema or sensitive skin.”
Our baby doesn’t have eczema but has been on the more sensitive side. I would absolutely not recommend getting these. I unfortunately opened all three and washed them right away, so am now just out the money for these. I trusted the company and so went all in getting a bundle when we were sizing up.

These are perfect for my little one who needs her arms in but also needs to be able to push herself back over when she rolls over.

It’s a comfort for my baby. Hell fall asleep in no time wearing these. Without, it takes a bit longer.
